Who can be nominated as a Local Hero?
Anyone living or working within our local community who has shown exceptional courage, leadership, or dedication to improving the lives of others can be nominated. This includes mentors, educators, healthcare workers, and community organizers.
How does the voting process work?
Once the nomination window closes, a panel selects the top finalists. Public voting will then open on this site. You can vote once per day during the official voting period.
When will the winners be announced?
Winners will be celebrated at the upcoming Stop the Funeral: The Remix event. Please refer to our Important Dates timeline for specific dates and venue information.
